About me:
Hi! I’m Kelly, a full-time Academic Advisor at TMCC. I look forward to getting to know you, including your goals, any challenges you are facing, and your plans beyond graduation. If you’re not sure what your goals are yet, that’s ok! I became an Academic Advisor, in part, to help students gain the clarity and support I wish I had during my own undergraduate education. Having many different interests, I changed my major more times than I can count, and actually dropped out at one point because I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do. As an Academic Advisor and Certified Career Coach, I can support you in getting clear about your educational and career pathways – putting together pieces of the puzzle, such as your various interests, preferences, personality traits and life experiences, to create the big picture.
I’m also here to help you connect with other supportive people, programs, and services that can greatly assist you on your educational journey. Just know, you are never alone! I’ve worked with hundreds of students just like you who have similar concerns and struggles, so don’t hesitate to reach out and ask for help. All of us at TMCC want you to achieve your big dreams, and the small ones (like making friends, and having fun). I work hard at a job I love, and still play too. Outside of work, I’m often hanging out with friends or family, going to art galleries, watching sports, or spending time in the outdoors. Let’s connect soon!
